Mr Edward Nicholl MA FCIS held office as Master of the Company for 2019-2021. He was re-installed for a second term in October 2020, due to the on-going Covid-19 pandemic.
Edward (Ted), is a Chartered Secretary who spent most of his working life as a company secretary with a variety of companies, including a brewery, major retailer, a professional body and a global hotel chain, before taking on consultancy and interim work. His recent assignments included housing associations and a major energy company.
He served as member of his professional body’s (ICSA) Council and UK Committee for 12 years and has been a Worshipful Company of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators member since 1999.
He lives in Northamptonshire with his wife Angela, who is also a Chartered Secretary. He is a town councillor, a trustee of a number of charities, and a governor of an academy in Shoreditch, the London borough in which he grew up.
His passions are a classic MG sports car, collecting historic weapons and Arsenal Football Club, but not necessarily in that order!
