Mr Christopher Edge held office as Master of the Company for 2023-2024.

Christopher is active in all WCCSA’s committees and is a Trustee of its Charitable Trust. He is a founding partner of Chamonix Private Equity LLP, a family office that acquires and develops private business that need attention.

He read Law to a postgraduate level and favoured going into business rather than being called to The Bar. Working in two international businesses, he trained in accountancy and finance and held a range of commercial and planning positions in international businesses. For 14 years Christopher worked with private businesses as managing director of the consultancy and turnaround subsidiary of 3i, of which he was also a director of the investment business.

Subsequently, he was an investor appointed turnaround executive chairman or director of around 60 companies that required change, reconstruction, re-financing or all three.

As well as having a legal background and being a Fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute, he is a Chartered Management Accountant, Certified Management Consultant, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
