A huge thank you to the WCCSA Charitable Trust for speeding through my application for emergency funding.  

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, hospitals in the London Boroughs of Lewisham and Bromley are critically short of scrubs and scrub bags, which can be made locally by volunteers.  I am co-ordinating the volunteer effort.  

The funding from WCCSA will pay for fabric for scrubs, which has to be specially sourced.  There are now more than 50 local volunteers busy sewing.  Production started on day 2 of the project.  

So far we are on track to deliver 100 bags in the first week of this amazing effort.
