The Master at The Northlands MS Centre in Bromley

Bromley is one of only three MS branches in the country with its own permanent centre providing help and support to MS sufferers and their families live well with MS. The Centre receives no external funding and is solely reliant on donations and fund raising events. They have no paid staff and are run exclusively by a small, dedicated group of volunteers. Pre-covid the Centre opened three days a week throughout the year, but was forced to close and is now back open two days a week.
The Centre serves hot lunches offering a chance for a fun and friendly get-together and arranges trips out and visits which are greatly appreciated. The Centre also provides support for carers who desperately need periods of respite from their caring role just to undertake very basic things like going to the bank or the hairdressers – things we all take for granted.
