Livery companies often invite senior figures from the City or from within their profession to become Honorary Members.  WCCSA has a number of such Honorary members who have been installed over the years.  Most are Honorary Freemen.  It is much rarer for us to install Honorary Liverymen.

We were therefore incredibly honoured when Mr John Barradell, OBE, Town Clerk and CEO of the City of London Corporation, agreed to become an Honorary Liveryman.  John was installed during the Installation Court held on 12 October 2022, which was particularly apt as one of our new Master’s aims for the year is to build relations with the City.  What better way to start?
