On 31 January 2020, a party from the Company attended an informal formal dinner at the SPS (Staff and Personnel Support) Officers’ Mess at Worthy Down – the first function to be held in the brand new building at Worthy Down.

The dinner was organised by Mike Sykes, the retiring Head of SPS, who shortly moves to other duties at Whittington Barracks Lichfield. Mike has been a very good friend of the Company, and has been staunch in building links and warm personal relationships enjoyed on both sides.

2020 marks the 40th anniversary of the first affiliation of SPS Worthy Down (formerly the Royal Army Pay Corps) with WCCSA. To mark the occasion, the new unit Officer in charge, Brigadier Caroline Hull and the Master signed new certificates of Affiliation, watched by members of the Company attending.
