Well what can I say?! Another superb Livery Luncheon on 29 January and this time held at the Brewers’ Hall (CLICK HERE TO READ ABOUT THE MASTER’S CHOICE OF HALL!). How fortunate are we to be able to take avail of these beautiful and historic Livery Halls of London. Since becoming a Liveryman I have only missed one of these luncheons. My guests, and myself, always enjoy the company of the interesting people we meet each time and catching up with fellow Liverymen.

We were, as ever, looked after superbly and the three-course lunch was excellent, accompanied by two fine Spanish wines and ended with a delicious port, coffee and petit fours.

After the Toast to our guests the Master, Mr Edward Nicholl, introduced Mrs Hannah Nemko, Head Teacher of the Dame Alice Owen’s School who gave us a very interesting insight into the history of the school.

Always a convivial, comfortable, relaxed and happy occasion! Thank you to Keith and Karen for their excellent organisation!
